Onmyoji cards that exorcised grudges and split the darkness during the Heian period Onmyoji were sorcerer-like beings active in the mid-Heian period who were said to have learned about all kinds of incidents before they occurred. Originally, Onmyoji was a government official in charge of divination. It is said that they later became active in the private sector, offering prayers and fortune-telling. These 36 oracle cards are based on the "Five Elements of Yin-Yang" used by the Yin-Yang Master, and also incorporate the essence of Oriental divination.
