toa no oekaki
From a young age, toa no oekaki loved drawing and dreamed of one day bringing her illustrations to life.
Her artist name, “toa no oekaki,” comes from “oekaki”—the simple joy of drawing that taught her the freedom of self-expression as a child. It reflects her wish to never forget that sense of creative freedom, even as an adult.
After experiencing pregnancy and childbirth, there was a time when her mind and body felt unsteady. During that period, she happened to receive a card reading. Although she was completely new to Lenormand cards at the time, that session became a turning point—her outlook grew more positive, and her life began to move in a brighter direction.
The cards helped her open a “door” to action, gently encouraging her to take her next step forward.
In the same way that cards once supported her, she now creates her own card decks using her illustrations, hoping to offer others a small moment of inspiration, a gentle push forward, or a quiet source of support.
With that wish close to her heart, she continues to carefully create and share each card—one by one, with care and intention.
