This tarot deck is inspired by Japanese mythology and has been in continuous production since its original release in 2014. To date, more than 7,500 copies have been produced.

The deck features original illustrations for all 22 Major Arcana cards and contains a total of 25 cards.

The cards measure 62 × 134 mm, giving them a distinctive elongated format. Printed on thicker-than-standard cardstock and finished with a matte laminate coating, they offer a smooth feel, excellent durability, and comfortable handling during readings.

Naoki Yamamoto
Naoki Yamamoto began his career as an illustrator in 2009. Specializing in artwork inspired by Japanese deities and Buddhist figures, he combined his artistic talents with a long-standing interest in tarot and began creating original tarot decks in 2012.

His Japanese Mythology Tarot, first released in 2014, has since reached its 6th Edition and expanded into a successful series of related products.

In 2016, he released the Traditional Tarot deck. In 2018, he launched "Japanese Mythology Tarot Kiwami," the complete edition of his mythology-inspired tarot series, and simultaneously organized "YAOYOROZU," a cosplay show celebrating the world of Japanese mythology.

In 2019, he released "Shintaku Fuda: Oracle Cards of the Kami," an oracle deck inspired by Japanese mythology. The deck has continued to grow in popularity and has gone through multiple reprints since its initial release.

Today, Yamamoto's decks are highly regarded by tarot enthusiasts, collectors, and readers who appreciate the unique fusion of traditional Japanese mythology and contemporary tarot artistry.
