Himiko Rose

Many people assume that "Himiko Rose" is a pen name, but it is actually her real name.
(Her legal name is written in Japanese characters as 陽美子ローズ.)

Born in San Francisco, Himiko moved to Tokyo at the age of six. She is of Japanese and American heritage, with a Japanese mother and an American father.

Raised in a family of artists, she developed a passion for art from an early age and pursued formal artistic training at an art university. After completing her studies, she began her professional career as an illustrator.

While working on tarot card illustrations, she was encouraged to explore a career as a professional reader as well. Given her unique name, "Himiko," many felt it was perfectly suited to the world of divination, and she soon made her debut as a tarot reader and spiritual advisor.

Today, she primarily focuses on creating original tarot and oracle decks while operating her own specialty card shop. Her work combines artistic expression, intuitive insight, and a passion for helping others explore their inner world through divination.

Through her decks, Himiko aims to create approachable and meaningful tools that offer guidance, encouragement, and inspiration for everyday life.
