■ What Are the Japanese Mythology Guardian Deity Oracle Cards?

Inspired by Kojiki, Japan's oldest historical chronicle, this oracle deck invites you to receive guidance from the gods and goddesses of Japanese mythology.

While the Kojiki records the origins of Japan, it is also a timeless collection of stories filled with courage, compassion, wisdom, and personal growth. Through these myths, the divine spirits come alive within our own hearts, encouraging us to discover the same strength and love within ourselves.

Each of the 38 beautifully illustrated cards depicts a memorable scene from Japanese mythology. The accompanying guidebook includes story summaries, in-depth interpretations, reflective exercises, and inspiring messages from the deities to help deepen your connection with each divine presence.

May these sacred stories awaken the blessings of the Japanese gods in your life and remind you that they are always watching over and supporting you.

■ Why We Created This Deck

After creating several oracle decks, we made it a tradition to visit Shinto shrines and offer our gratitude upon completing each project.

While visiting a shrine after finishing the Dragon Healing Oracle Cards, the author, Tidasato, experienced a heartfelt message from the sun goddess Amaterasu:

"We hope that more people will come to know us..."

Those words became the inspiration for this deck. We began researching Japanese mythology in greater depth, and throughout the creative process we gained new insights that allowed the cards to evolve into something even more meaningful.

With deep gratitude, we created this deck in the hope that people around the world can strengthen their connection with the deities of Japanese mythology and invite greater harmony, guidance, and good fortune into their lives.

■ How to Use the Cards

Shuffle the deck while focusing on your intention, then draw one card.

The deity that appears becomes your Guardian Deity (Shugokami) for that moment, offering guidance and protection.

Read the card and its guidebook entry, complete the accompanying reflection exercises, and write down any thoughts, feelings, or inspirations that arise.

If possible, consider visiting a Shinto shrine dedicated to that particular deity to deepen your spiritual connection. By nurturing your relationship with the gods of Japanese mythology, you may experience greater peace, healing, and good fortune in your daily life.

■ Oracle Reading Course

Tidasato

The name Tida means "sun." Tidasato felt an immediate connection with angels from the very first moment they held an oracle deck. That profound experience became the beginning of a spiritual journey, leading to communication with Japanese deities and dragons.

As the Communication Manager of the Japan Oracle Card Reading Association, Tidasato has co-created several oracle decks, including Communication Cards – Happy Sun, Dragon Healing Oracle Cards, and Heartful Soul Oracle Cards. Through these works, Tidasato hopes to help readers build meaningful connections with the spiritual world and discover guidance for everyday life.

Ryu Aikawa is the Representative of the Japan Oracle Card Reading Association and works as an oracle card producer and ambassador. Passionate about making oracle cards more accessible, Aikawa has produced numerous decks, including Communication Cards – Happy Sun, Dragon Healing Oracle Cards, and Heartful Soul Oracle Cards.

Through collaboration with authors and artists, Aikawa is dedicated to creating oracle decks that inspire, encourage, and connect people with their own intuition and spiritual path.
